Who are we fundraising for? Our Lady's Hospice & Care Services and St. Francis Hospice. All funds raised here will go directly to these great causes.
The plan of action: We are going to be doing a 24 hour Cycle-A-Thon starting at 9am December 16th until 9am December 17th.
Who is cycling? The Keyhouse Team.
How can I get involved? You can donate directly on this page or you can donate on either of the cause’s websites.
How can I watch the event? We will be documenting each individuals cycle. We will be updating our progress on LinkedIn and will have the full event available for replay on our website after the event.
Where will you be cycling to? Some people will be hitting the roads, others will be doing their cycle virtually, with some people in the office on stationary bikes.
We all know somebody who has been in need of hospice care. At Keyhouse, we certainly have a great appreciation for those who look after us and loved ones in our time of greatest need. We hope you can help us by donating whatever you can.
Together, over 990 general and medical staff and 700 incredible volunteers provided world-class person-centred care to 5,640 patients and families in 2020. They also provided over 20,000 specialist palliative home care visits to patients in their own homes as well as delivering over 8,800 clinical ‘virtual’ reviews as our teams adapted to COVID-19.
As organisations that rely heavily on fundraising, it is thanks to the on-going and generous support from the public and business community that both SFH and OLH&CS can continue to provide the incredibly high levels of care that we do. Unfortunately, COVID-19 has also had an impact on their ability to raise funds. This is proving a challenge to vital frontline services for vulnerable patients and their families, and why they need your support.
