From those early days the club has stood the test of time achieving great success on and off the field. The foundations for this success lie in the footsteps laid down by Ballymartle founding members and past and current members that have donated generously to the ongoing investment in club facilities. From a small rural village of Cork the club has managed to build state-of-the-art facilities for the players, both adult and underage as well as the wider community. The underage clubs of Sliabh Rua Hurling and Football and Sliabh Rua Camogie have benefited greatly from club facilities and will be one of the main benefactors of the Astro development as it will give them access to facilities all year round.

Investment in club facilities over the last 25 years include:

· 1996 new pitch

· 2005 dressing rooms, ball alley and meeting rooms added

· 2008 sand-based pitch, lights and perimeter fencing installed

· 2011 Club Gym

· 2019 Indoor ball alley upgraded, tarmacking ground and entrance

· 2022 drainage works to new pitch

· 2022 scoreboard installed
