Irish Girl Guide’s Leigh-dale cottage was last updated in 1985. The cottage has been closed during the pandemic. To update the cottage and make it an amazing place for the next generation of Guides and ever mindful of Health snd Safety we have replaced the old wooden bunks with state of the art new bunks. A new kitchen has also been installed and work is ongoing on the rest of the cottage.
The committee is hoping to raise 25000 to get all the essential work paid for asap. Total costs are estimated be over 60000 euro. Grants also being applied for and sponsorship would be welcomed. Looking forward to welcoming members back to the cottage at the earliest possible time.
