Our Lady's Bower Secondary School

Enriching the school experience for all through the development of Wellbeing, Sports and Recreation facilities at Our Lady's Bower Secondary School

overview

This Campaign will position the school for continued success in preparing students to reach their full personal potential.  We are inviting every member of the Bower community to join us in delivering this important project - through a community effort of fundraising initiatives and securing donations at various levels, we can achieve our ambitious plan.

We are immensely grateful for the financial support already pledged from our Trustees, the School, and through a generous legacy gift from Sr. Christopher RIP, in addition to a Department of Education and Skills School’s Capital Programme grant, all of which have collectively secured €1.3million towards the cost of the new facilities.

where your money goes

We are now asking for the support of our entire community to raise the final €900,000 to reach our target of €2.2million to deliver this project.

Our outdoor Wellbeing, Sports and Recreation facilities are being created to include:

  • A full-size hockey pitch
  • A multi-purpose playing pitch
  • A six-lane 100 metre sprint track
  • A changing room pavilion
  • A wild flower and herb garden
  • Walkways and benches
  • A Memorial Garden
