Strokestown Christmas Lights

The Strokestown Christmas Lights committee this year are excited to create a better festive atmosphere for our community and visitors.
With your help, we hope to extend our magnificent Christmas lights display.
As you know we made a huge investment over the past three years in lighting the town.
We have confirmed a large team of volunteer qualified electricians and contractors to install and test the lighting in November, while this has been a huge saving, we have additional associated costs for repairs and installation for the illumination.
We are appealing to everyone at home and abroad to help light up the town for Christmas.

We appreciate your donations and support to bring the Christmas spirit to the community of Strokestown
where your money goes
Your donation will be spent on the following :
- Purchase and delivery of a large festive Tree (the focal point of our town at the roundabout)
- Repairs and installation of current illumination

In 2019 a new Christmas lights sub-committee was established to enhance festive lighting throughout Strokestown after a few years of having a limited festive display.
The committee consists of a number of volunteers from the trader’s community and others, with one agenda to light Strokestown and bring Christmas cheer to our community and to the many commuters travelling West for Christmas.
