Vision Ireland, the new name for NCBI, is the national organisation working for people with sight loss. We are a not-for-profit charitable organisation providing support and services nationwide to people experiencing sight loss.

You may have noticed our name has changed. We've changed our name to ensure more people know about our services and support. Right now, nearly 300,000 people in Ireland deal with some form of vision impairment. Our aim has always been to reach everyone who can benefit from our support.

Mission

Our mission is to enable people who are blind and vision impaired to overcome the barriers that impede their independence and participation in society.
