We are all volunteers, trained by the Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC), FAR responders( First Aid Responder) and CFR (Cardiac/Community First Responder)for CPR and defibrillation, and are dispatched to emergencies 24/7 in our community having been dispatched by the National ambulance service (999/112 calls) to preserve life until the ambulance reaches the patient in an event of cardiac arrest, chest pain, stroke or choking.

We fully rely on donations to fund and support the work we do. Defibrillator pads or batteries which pads are €90 per set, and batteries range from €250 - €500 (Depending on what batteries are available) we rely on 100% on donations. Each call out to a cardiac arrest, a new set of defibrillator pads has to be used. We are fundraising for a mobile defibrillator for one of our active responders and this will cut out any time lost retrieving a public access defibrillator, extra pads for our defibrillators and batteries, and training equipment which at present is quite expensive, supplies for our responder bags and PPE (Gloves & Masks) .
