Feileacain  (CHY 19635) was founded by a group of bereaved parents who came together to offer hope and support to others affected by the loss of a baby who unfortunately would need our help.

Company Overview 
- To host regular support meetings which allow bereaved families space and time to remember their baby.
- To offer a befriending service and and support helpline.
- To offer support and provide a safe and confidential setting, in which those bereaved through stillbirth or neonatal death can share their experiences.
- To promote research into the causes of stillbirth and neonatal death and the effects of grief on the family.
- To work in co-operation with support services and other support organisations.
- To hold remembrance services and family events.
- To provide hospitals with our memory boxes to be given to bereaved families.

Description 
A Butterfly alights besides us like a sunbeam..... And for a brief moment it's glory and beauty belong to this world... But then it flies on again and though we wish it could have stayed, We are so thankful to have seen it at all.
Mission 
Feileacain  (Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland), are a not for profit organisation (Charity number CHY 19635). We provide assistance & support to anyone affected by the loss of a baby. We are currently supplying the maternity hospitals with memory boxes and also providing phone support and group meetings to those who may need it. We have links to Sands UK and the International Stillbirth Alliance.

where your money goes

Towards continuing our services ie providing memory boxes to hospitals, running our phone line, holding parents get togethers and workshops.
