INET is the Irish charity helping develop educational opportunities for children in Phuleli and surrounding villages high up in the lap of Mount Everest. INET was born out of the first successful Irish Everest Expedition in 1993. It raises money to provide educational opportunities for people living in remote villages in the lap of Mount Everest high up in the Solu Khumbu district of the Nepalese Himalaya. INET aims to improve education development for the local people. INET is run on a completely voluntary basis by a small board of directors in Ireland.
