In addition to funds donated by the Irish greyhound racing industry, all donations support IRGT's work to educate members of the public as to greyhounds' wonderful natures and the fabulous family pets they make, as well as supporting the rehoming of greyhounds here in Ireland, and through our partner rehoming organisations overseas.   

Founded in 1997, IRGT has worked collaboratively with organisations across Europe and north America throughout that time to help Irish retired racing greyhounds find loving forever homes. During the past 3 years, IRGT has facilitated the rehoming of nearly 6000 retired greyhounds, both in Ireland and further afield.
