history

Purple House Cancer Support was founded in 1990 by Veronica O'Leary, as a result of her own Cancer illness and the lack of community based support services in Ireland at that time.

Once Veronica finished her Cancer treatment, she set about establishing Ireland's 1st Community based Cancer Support Centre in Bray, Co. Wicklow.

Today, Purple House Cancer Support helps over 1,700 families annually in Ireland.
