We are delighted to see that our original target of €12,000 has been surpassed.

From all the players, families and mentors connected we’d like to sincerely thank all that have donated. The response has been overwhelming in such a short space of time.

It’s fantastic to see the goodwill and community support for these young people.

We are aware that there are donations pending so we are going to keep the fundraiser open for a bit.

We have been working off estimates so far and the full spend will not become clear until after the events, so it’s prudent to allow for some additional expenses at this point.

In the event of any excess funds, we will be looking at potential team related expenses later in the year, along with charity partners and Ahane GAA club. We look forward to updating everyone on that in due course.

AMAZING DOUBLE SUCCESS

Ahane GAA U15 teams recently achieved an amazing double success in winning the county Division 1 Féile finals in football and hurling. The teams will now go forward and proudly represent Limerick at the National Féile on June 22nd in Wexford (Hurling) and June 29th in Mayo (Football).

We are now fundraising to cover the travel and logistical expenses for the two events and to ensure our squads are fully prepared for these momentous occassions. We hope that our local community, families and businesses will support this fantastic group of players as they wear their club colours with pride on a national stage making friends and memories for life.
