De La Salle Palmerston FC (DLSP) is a local community rugby club providing rugby for men, women, boys, girls, special needs and mixed ability. We have a long standing relationship with London Irish going back nearly 40 years with teams travelling over to each other since 1985.

Up until now it has only been boys teams. Now, finally, it's the GIRL'S turn!!

Our burgeoning girls section in the club in Kilternan is growing steadily every year. It is mainly made up of girls and young women from the local area, incorporating a large part of your own catchment area. We hope to bring approximately 12 players over to London and need to raise €15,000.

As part of our fundraising campaign, our determined girls are going to 'walk' to the London Irish Club from our own club in Kilternan. Between them and their coaches, the girls will cover the 601km distance over the month of February walking in the local area. They are seeking donations to help reach their fundraising target and get the opportunity to create memories only the boys have had the chance to create to date. This is a huge opportunity to celebrate girls playing team sports. We, as parents of the players, see the huge social and health benefits directly for our girls. Regardless of this tour it is a passion we all share and worth championing. Anyone who helps on that journey should be proud of the role they play in our community and we would be very grateful for any donations . No matter how large or small.
