Reinhard Schaler is the founder and the driving force behind An Saol. Reinhard's son's name is Pádraig and he was in a catastrophic accident in Cape Cod in 2013.
An Saol Foundation was set up "to afford every opportunity to people with severe Acquired Brain Injury (sABI) to live their life with dignity and respect, to continue to improve, to regain as much independence and self-determination as possible, and for their injuries to heal, supported by adequate therapies" - this is An Saol's pledge. Fantastic! Reinhard's team offers an intensive and inclusive neurological rehabilitation programme that is informed by best international practice.
An Saol needs financial support more than ever to help family members with brain injuries be the best version of themselves.
Please donate to An Saol if you can. Many thanks as always.
