    Get active with your family this Easter by taking part in the 3km Childline Family Fun Run and support Childline’s 24/hr listening service for children nationwide.

    On the 30th of March 2024 at 10am, Childline by ISPCC will be hosting a 3km Family Fun Run on the West Pier in Dun Laoghaire.

    Whether you’re an active family, or you and your family are looking for a way to spend quality time together while giving back to an amazing cause; we have the perfect fundraising challenge for the whole family! 

    How do I take part?

  • Sign up by clicking the Sign Up button on this page. Here you will be able to create your family’s fundraising page – whether you’re the Kelly family or the Doyle family, don’t forget to upload a photo of you and your children so people can see who they are supporting.
  • Childline will send you a Childline Family Fun Run digital pack including your own sponsorship card.
  • Ask your friends and family to make a small donation to your fundraising page by sharing on WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, email, Twitter, and Linkedin.
  • Plan your month – get some practice walks in, maybe break into a little jog every now and then, Easter is on the way, the more active we get the more chocolate eggs we can reward ourselves with! 
  • Raise €200 or more and you will receive a goodie bag on the day, with #TeamChildline headbands, balloons, stickers and more! The top fundraising families will receive Childline by ISPCC t-shirts & running tops – and will also be featured across our social media channels.
  • Once you’ve completed the pier run you will receive a Childline Family Fun Run Certificate of Completion. Make sure you’ve got space on the fridge! 


Why Take Part in the Childline Family Fun Run 2024?

All funds raised from the Childline Family Fun Run will go directly towards Childline’s 24/hr listening service.

Childline receive calls and messages from on average 2,000 children and teenagers every week. We support their needs and listen to any issues they are facing.

The well-being of children across Ireland is our number 1 priority! To ensure we can be there for every child who contacts us, we need your support.

Children’s issues range from family relationships, mental health, emotional health, friendships  to abuse and sexual assault.  No matter what the issue is, we are here for every child, at all times.
