Wall of Remembrance

With the Wall of Remembrance, you can remember a loved one you miss by adding their name on the wall of our Boathouse and also on a Remembrance page on our Website which will help us raise funds to help others.

Your Remembrance wall will be stationed at Drogheda River Rescue boathouse on Horse Lane, Drogheda, Louth, where your loved one’s memory can live on for generations – beside the Volunteers who do be out searching.

There is a suggested donation of €20 to submit a name, which will be proudly displayed on the Wall and Website with other names who have been remembered in this special way.

Your loved one’s name will be displayed for at least the next 5 years both on the wall and website.

Your donation in memory of a loved one, however big or small, will go towards the Drogheda River Rescue general funds, which are vital to helping us to save lives. The funds will help us pay for everything from our Suicide Prevention Patrols, Water Rescues, essential equipment, crew training to safety visits in schools and help towards purchasing the next rescue boat for those in need.

Once you have added your loved one’s name to the wall of remembrance, it will also be added to our website wall for all to view, were it will remain for 5years.
