The Ian Daly Swim a Mile with a Smile is an annual charity fundraiser in aid of Barretstown and Crumlin Children’s Hospital, organised by Brian & Laura Daly in memory of their beloved son Ian. The event has been going strong since 2004.
To date the Daly family have raised an amazing €700,000 for the two charities since the event began so many years ago which is an incredible achievement. Take on the challenge in 2024, not only will it make you feel fantastic but all funds raised will go to help more children, like Ian, to experience the magic of Barretstown.
Barretstown offers a fun programme of challenging activities designed to help children deal with the trauma of serious illness. Hospitals take care of the physical effects of serious illness.
