Lots of Socks Galway is an annual awareness campaign run by parents of children with Down Syndrome in support of Down Syndrome community in Galway.
The little socks were handknitted by local knitting groups and individuals around Galway. You can pick your favorite colors and wear it pinned to your jacket, shirt or jumper to show your support.
All funds raised this year will go towards setting up a Numeracy classes for children and young adults with Down Syndrome.

At Down Syndrome Galway, we aim to provide information, support and friendship to people with Down syndrome and their families in Galway City and County, working towards an improved quality of life with respect and acceptance of people with DS as valued members of their community. We recognise the importance of early intervention and developing communication ability. We aim to create opportunities for social and personal inclusion and integration across the age spectrum.
