At Slalom, we are committed to making a positive impact on the world around us. That's why we are excited to announce our largest company-wide charitable event, the Slalom Annual Food Drive. Our goal is to raise 1.8 million meals to support our neighbours in need, both locally and around the world.

As a locally-based organization, Slalom has a deep connection to our communities. One of the most pressing issues facing these communities is food insecurity, which has been exacerbated by the pandemic and rising food costs. That's why we are proud to come together as a team to help fight hunger in our communities.

In the past, we have accepted both food and monetary donations for the food drive. However, this year we have decided to focus solely on monetary donations. This is because our partner organizations have better buying power, which means that donations can go further. Additionally, it allows our partners to target areas of greatest need and provides better tracking of results through online donation sites. Donating money through these sites also provides donors with charitable contribution receipts, making it easier to claim tax deductions.
