Excitement is building here in Scoil an Athar Tadhg and our community as our new school build is coming close to completion. This new build will provide our students with a state of the art learning environment and positively impact the learning of future generations and the whole community. 

During the summer the Board of Management made an ambitious decision to install an artificial grass surface where natural grass was due to be laid. The benefit of this is that the children will now have a safe surface to play on all year round. Our new school site will include an area of 226sq.m of an artificial grass surface for our children in An Neidín and a surface of 462sq.m in our mainstream section. 

In order to raise funds for this artificial grass we are 'selling off' 688 individual squares of artificial grass.  Each square of artificial grass is priced at €50 . As well as a place in history and a unique certificate of ownership everybody purchasing a square will be in with a chance of winning some fantastic prizes including ; 

• A Two night stay in an award-winning cottage in Castlegregory, Co. Kerry
• An Overnight Stay in the Rochestown Park Hotel
• An Overnight Stay in the Vienna Woods Hotel
• Afternoon Tea for two in the Metropole Hotel
