Over the past three years we have raised in excess €50,000 to support projects and services for children fighting cancer.
All proceeds from this year’s IzzyB’s Away with the Fairies Day will be in aid of Childhood Cancer Foundation to assist funding the improvement of services, supports and facilities for children with cancer and their families, who are attending the 16 shared care Hospitals countrywide. Especially Mullingar Regional Hospital where IzzyB was very well looked after by the wonderful staff on the Paeds ward. We spent hours, days, weeks in room one with no toys available for IzzyB, a TV that didn't work and limited resources to keep her amused through the long days!! Help us #bethechange and assist CCF with there projects to make life better for all children fighting cancer and their families.
I started this event with the help of some friends and my community to give something back after my daughter IzzyB battled Childhood Cancer twice by the age of 4. We are inspired by the strength and fortitude shown by children fighting cancer and their family and friends that are affected by childhood cancer. We want to support them by raising awareness and money. Please help us help them by giving whatever you can. The more people that know about Childhood Cancer, the greater their impact, so please also spread the word by sharing my page with your friends and family. Thank you in advance for your generosity, it means a lot!
