The Friends of the Elderly Centre on Bolton Street is in bad need of renovation, a new floor and plumbing work is top of the agenda in order to restore the centre to its former glory!
Friends of the Elderly want clubs such as the one on Bolton Street to be a welcoming place for older members of the community, a place where they can hang out, have a cup of tea and a chat, get some help with internet or on-line bill paying, enjoy live music and generally feel at home.
