There are few families which have not been affected by cancer and although treatments are improving the number of people being diagnosed with the disease is growing. I'm inspired by the work of North Tipperary Hospice Movement and wanted to support them by raising funds to help in the excellent work that they are doing. The support centers in Nenagh and Thurles assist people who have been diagnosed with cancer and help them in a practical and psychological way. The cost of the trip is being self funded so 100% of all donations are going to the Hospice. The organization depends on the generosity of the community, as 100% of the funding to maintain these vital services, comes from donations and not from any governmental bodies or other stakeholders.
