Another year, antoher marathon. This one's going to be a toughie though - I haven't been able to run most of the summer due to iron deficiency, so the challenge will be completing the race, not going for a PB! I'm fundraising for My Canine Companion again, a fabulous charity that trains service dogs for children with autism. These wonder dogs can calm the most anxious children, and keep them safe, by preventing them from running off or getting into dangerous situations. This enables the children and their families to do thiings like go shopping, fly on aeroplanes, go to the park, things that a lot of families take for granted but that can seem completely unattainable for families affected by autism. I've seen close up the amazing work MCC do, through my nephew, who had had a puppy in training last year. We keep up to date on the MCC news through social media, and have seen the dogs make such an amazing differences to so many families. If you'd like to donate, you'd be making a real difference to a child's life, to their who family's life really. And the dogs are very cute.
