That fun looking photo is of me in an art gallery in Pittsburgh last summer when I jaunted over for an amazing press trip. When I landed it transpired that my luggage was stuck in Iceland so I had no pill, which I need to manage my endo. Thankfully one of the Icelandic PRs for the airline had endo so she shared her meds with me and it was genuinely so lovely I still well up thinking about it. One in ten women have endo, according to some estimates, and while it's great that more and more people are aware of it, it would be even more ace if you could support the one charity in Ireland dedicated to supporting women with the condition! Stop telling me you read about it in a novel and telling me 'I never knew it was so bad' with a look of pity in your eyes! Give me money instead. I HATE running, but I love raising nominal amounts of € for a good cause and getting a medal.

About the Cause
Endometriosis Association of Ireland
The Endometriosis Association of Ireland is here to provide support and information for those living with endometriosis and to promote research into this disease.
We also strive to raise awareness of endometriosis amongst women in Ireland and the medical profession; awareness not just of the disease, but also the symptoms, effects and treatment options.
We look forward to a time when all women have ready access to a timely diagnosis and receive appropriate treatment, care and support.
