Many of you reading this will remember that I run (ok walked! ) the mini marathon for the last couple of years in order to raise funds for the IMNDA. The inspiration for this came from my cousin Sharon who suffered from this disease. Sadly Sharon passed away in January of this year and I would like to continue raising funds and awarecess for a great cause. I am also thinking of Linda Southgate as I prepare to take part in this event. She was my tutor when I trained as a yoga teacher. She also passed away from MND. Both women were inspirational. My very presence on fb is thanks to Sharon as I joined in order to read her brilliant blog and to fundraise for the great charity that is the IMNDA. Any donation no matter how small world be gratefully received.
