My mother was diagnosed with MND in 2007 and sadly passed away in February 2008. This came as a major shock to my mum and all the family as she was a very positive,outgoing person and this disease robbed her of independence from an early stage. The IMNDA were a wonderful support to my mum and her loving family and I would like to repay in a small way the wonderful support we received.

Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association
The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is the only organisation of its kind in the country providing specialised services to families affected by this terminal condition.
The Association cannot slow the progression of MND or change the outcome but we can alleviate the feelings of isolation and frustration.
