This team of 6 swimmers will be swimming from Holyhead to Dublin for The Gavin Foundation - helping families fighting childhood cancer

Story

1 OF A KIND CHARITY SWIM
Attempted 3 times before by a team of six in 1993, and finally completed on Monday 16th August 1993, in just under 30 hours, setting a now long-standing Guinness World Record. This is a highly challenging charity relay swim, raising vital funds for The Gavin Glynn Foundation.

6 SWIMMER RELAY
The long distance swim of 100km+ consists of a relay team with 6 swimmers, all consecutively taking turns swimming to make it from Holyhead to Dublin, across the Irish sea.

When is the swim planned for?
It is planned for between the 19th-26th September 2019, actual date will  be announced through charity social media channels when official. We can’t specify an exact date due to weather and tide conditions.

Pilot’s, Swimmers,Team will all be ready to take on the mighty and unpredictable cold Irish Sea.

Many Thanks for your support.
