Trinity College Dublin speech and language therapy students recently learnt about potential changes to a persons speech and swallowing as a result of motor neurone disease and the impact this can have on an individual and their families. They decided they wanted to promote awareness of MND and fundraise for IMNDA. Given their future profession, a sponsored silence seemed the most appropriate event to organise.
