Ger Meehans 4 Half Marathon Runs in Aid of Limerick Suicide Watch 2019

The 1st marathon is taking place 24th March - The London Landmarks Half Marathon London's central half marathon through Westminster and the City.

the 2nd - place 6th April - The Prague Half Marathon

the 3rd- 5th May - The Great Limerick Half Marathon Run

the 4th - 8th September - The Great North Run Newcastle.

I have decided to run these fantastic Half Marathons for a charity i hold close to my heart. As well as patrolling with LSW, i would like to do some more by raising fuinds for LSW. This charity is not goverment funded and relies solely on donations from the public.

Limerick Suicide Watch are an amazing Charity based in Limerick City.

They help people indistress and who maybe contemplating Suicide. To ensure that volunteers have the life saving equipment it cost e450 per volunteer and the costs of running LSW is e40.000 per year to ensure all members are insured, have correct equipment and training.

On average they have 2 interventions per week  and have had 250+ interventions since they began in May 2016.
