I'm taking part in VHI Mini-Marathon 2019 on Sunday 2nd of June 2019. I've chosen to fundraise for Féileacáin - Stillbirth and Neonatal Death Association of Ireland. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.

This is a great organisation that offers support to anyone affected by the death of a baby during pregnancy or shortly afterwards. They were able to provide a cold-cot for a very good friend of mine and her husband, so that they could bring their baby Arthur home with them before his funeral.

Here are some of the ways in which your donations could help: €50 could provide a M...

What a beautiful day. Just back from a 7.5km run/walk down to Dundrum and back. I'd like to thank everyone for donating. It really means a lot to me that I can do something for this great charity. A loss of a baby is such a huge thing and something that can affect people at the most unusual of times. Many thanks to all and please do keep me in your thoughts on the 2nd June. I'll have done 2 more park runs by then and hopefully a 9km run/walk next Monday.

One more day to go til I run the Minimarathon for Féileacáin. I'm so grateful for all the support. From talking to people, it is clear that very many people have been affected by the death of a baby, either theirs or someone they are close too. I'm so pleased to have raised more than 1300 euro (when I include the support on my sponsorship card above the fridge). Thank you so much to all for the donations you have made already. It means so much to me and to my good friend as well as family members who have been affected in the past.
