Dear family and friends. A year ago I shared with all of you about my son's Down Syndrome diagnosis. It was a very hard time in my life. Accepting the diagnosis was hard because simply I didn't know anything about the condition. I owe it to Jaxon and the many other children and adults with Down Syndrome that I have met to help raise awareness about this condition.
There was an organizational that helped me tremendously on those early days and that was Down Syndrome Ireland.
Down Syndrome Ireland is dedicated to being the primary source of information and support to people with Down syndrome and their families. They work to achieve an optimal quality of life for people with Down syndrome as equally valued, independent citizens.
Down Syndrome Ireland only receives 14% of government funding so all the funds they need has to be raised. Because of the tremendous work they do here in Ireland I decided to do something "crazy" and "hard" so I can pay it forward. I will be taking part in Climb Kilimanjaro 4 DSI on Monday 3rd of August 2020 .
I've chosen to fundraise for Down Syndrome Ireland . All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.
I hope you can help me by donating whatever you can. Simply click the Donate button above. All donations are processed securely.
