As you all know Pauline's daughter and our niece Lauren has Auto inflammatory Disease, we were fortunate to be introduced to ICAN (Irish Children's Arthritis Network), this group provide support, information and links to international forum to families that are encountering these very rare diseases. ICAN organise events for children and teens and there families so children can meet peers encountering the same difficulties in life, parents provide support and share information, as local hospitals and GP's do not encounter the issues faced on a regular basis. ICAN provide mentors to early teens at organised events, providing children with the tools to brave these illnesses. All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause.
