The Women's Mini Marathon which was due to take place on Sunday 31st of May has been cancelled in light of the COVID19 social distancing measures. This event has always been a day of celebration for us travelling from Carlow to take part every year and an important fundraising day for the Éist Cancer Support Centre.

As we cant be there together in person, we are suggesting on Sunday May 31st to complete a walk/run/cycle in aid of Eist Cancer Support Centre, donating what you can. You can also share your activities on Facebook or Instagram and we will have memories in years to come of a very different Women's Mini Marathon :)

We will especially remember Mam, Mary Smyth and celebrate how she always enjoyed this special day out with many of her family and friends.

Eist Cancer Support Centre offers counselling, reflexology, support groups, classes and support to people who are living with or have lived with cancer and their families. Their motto, 'A listening ear, a helping hand' is especially relevant at this time and will continue to be in the coming months.
