I am undertaking the walk in memory of three very special women -Nicky McFadden, Mary Harty and Oonagh Kavanagh. (nee Brennan) It will also be a personal challenge for me. On June 29, 2019, I had a serious fall - by successfully completing this walk I will have proved that I have regained my full mobility! I intend to carry out the challenge on Saturday, June 20 on the Waterford Greenway.

The Irish Motor Neurone Disease Association (IMNDA) is the only organisation of its kind in the country providing specialised services to families affected by this terminal condition. The Association cannot slow the progression of MND or change the outcome but we can alleviate the feelings of isolation and frustration.
