Since starting to volunteer with MADRA in October 2019, I've seen first-hand the wonderful work they do, and the amazing difference they make to the lives of so many dogs every year. The staff and volunteers go far above and beyond what anyone could reasonably expect, showing unmatched levels of caring and committment to the many dogs that pass through their care. The staff and volunteers put all their efforts, expertise, and kindess into helping every single dog to get ready for their forever home, whether they are in the kennels for short while, or need some extra caring, patient, and compassionate rehabilitation for a little longer.

Due to covid-19, the MADRA charity shops had to close for much of the year so far, removing a primary source of income. Inspired by the tireless efforts of the staff and volunteers, on August 16th I'm going to run 91 loops of the dog walking trail at the MADRA kennels, to cover the marathon distance of 42.2km. All donations are greatly appreciated.
