On Saturday, September 23rd 2023, Willie Fahey, DJ Horan, and Eddie Morrissey will take on the challenge of completing the 31km crossing of the Galtee Mountains. The three members of Cashel Lions plan to start the challenge in Anglesborough, Co. Limerick, and head east along the entire Galtee ridge and descend just outside Cahir in Co. Tipperary. The Galtee End to End Challenge is expected to take between 8 and 10 hours to complete. The crossing will include the highest peaks in both Limerick and Tipperary.

All funds raised will be used to support a range of community service projects run by Cashel Lions Club. This year we are asking you to be extra generous as Cashel Lions Club plans to finance the purchase of a bus, with wheelchair access, for Cashel Day Care Centre.
