My name is Martin and I am in my 70th year!
A successful total hip replacement has brought a new life and enabled the launch of a new company. The company helps patients to be treated in countries other than their own. (Trasna) In Europe this includes financial assistance from their home country.
Covid19 has led to most patients not being able to travel. Of course it has also led to over 1 million deaths by the end of September. In Tanzania, Ireland’s Dr. Trish Scanlan has brought much relief to children suffering from cancer.
Being limited in what we can do for patients in Europe, the thought occurred that help to Dr.Trish and her wonderful patients in Tanzania would be a practical thing to do.
Covid19 has limited much of the help and finance on which she relies. So from the 1st October 2020 my target was to take one million steps before the end of 2020, one for each person that died from Covid19.
May I be a mendicant and ask whichever of my friends would like to support this worthy cause and are in a position to donate something no matter how small or ask someone that you think may want to contribute.
It would be good to tell the patients that people far and wide are thinking about them.
All funds raised here will go directly to this great cause. I hope you can help me by donating whatever you can. Simply click the Donate button above. All donations are processed securely.View Website/Blog
