I'm fundraising for lauralynn because of a very special and personal connection I share with this important place. My second daughter Beth was born with a very rare condition in April 2015 and her life was an unending cycle of hospital admissions, seizures, copious amounts of medication, anxiety, fear and complete terror for all of us. She was a brave, patient, tolerant baby who put up with so much and we did everything we could possibly do to take care of her as well as possible. Sadly she passed away on Christmas day 2015 at the age of 8 months and 10 days, just before we became lauralynn family ourselves. We feel her loss every moment of every day. We are all too familiar with the vital work lauralynn does for babies and  children like Beth and their families. It is an honour to be involved in this challenge, raising money for Laualynn and honouring my daughter at the same time.
