Leicester Celtic, as a club, are embarking on a major project this year with the installation of a new floodlit astro pitch where our grass back pitch is at present. Installing this new facility will result in young girls and boys being able to train more and play in matches which would have previously been cancelled.
The total cost of the project is circa €320,000.
About Leicester Celtic Leicester Celtic is a Community Football club based in Rathfarnham. We currently have 56 teams, from under 8’s up to over 35’s. Our girls section is growing every year and we have a thriving academy.

Leicester Celtic Football Club was founded in 1967 by Michael Flaherty and Father C. F. Lee, then a curate in Rathgar parish.
In return for financial assistance from the Parish, the name of a local street was to be used in the club name.
