Thank you for visiting our fundraising page. We are performing "Ceol Sa Reidhlean" live on Friday, March 3rd, 8pm at the Mayflower Hall in Drumshanbo. We are also presenting it on YouTube at a later date to enable those not attending to also enjoy it. We hope that this will enable as many people as possible to support us both in-person and online.
Our theme is focused on the progression of the human spirit when it becomes immersed in Traditional music. Learning to balance the right (creativity) and left (analytical) hemisphere’s of the brain is a vital part in learning and retaining the music in theory and practice. The goal is to bring the tradition to life to lift and inspire not only ourselves but everyone around us with the culture and heritage that Ireland is so well known for.
This year we are raising funds for two extremely worthy charities. They are Sligo Cancer Support Support Centre, and DVAS Domestic Violence Advocacy Service (Sligo, Leitrim & West Cavan). All funds raised here will be evenly distributed between these two amazing charities. We are most grateful for your support and all donations are processed securely via iDonate. Also, we would be thankful if you would share this page using the share options available. This is a great way to show your support. We hope you enjoy the show in whichever way you choose to view it and we thank you for any donation that you can provide.

A diagnosis of cancer profoundly changes a person’s life. Many people feel alone, isolated and afraid. Some people keep their fears to themselves in order not to cause further trauma to their families. Others have no one to share their fears with. Such an experience led to the foundation of the Centre in 1996. Initially a small group of people met once a month to support each other.
