World Down Syndrome Day 2021 occurs on March 21st. 21/03 represents Trisomy 21 or Down Syndrome because people with Down syndrome have a third strand on Chromosome 21, whereas most people only have 2. A great reason to celebrate that little be extra!
Each year World Down Syndrome Day is celebrated in a myriad of ways - parties, wearing cool and funky socks and raising awareness. Needless to say the parties can't happen but we are asking you to Rock your Socks by wearing colourful, fucky socks. Share your pictures with us, tag us on social media and donate a little if you can. Funds raised go to supporting children and adults with Down syndrome who avail of services at Down Syndrome Limerick, a fabulous chairt located in Limerick .

About the Cause
Down Syndrome Limerick
We endeavour to support families and individuals with Down Syndrome throughout their life, through a range of Social, Education and Development activities.
Recognition of the importance of early intervention and of developing communication ability, with due regard to the individuality of the person, guides everything we do.
