I have been volunteering with the Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle (ROKCC) since 2016, cycling it on numerous occasions. Due to Covid 19 both the 2020 and 2021 event were sadly cancelled, which had a detrimental impact on our charity partners and the funds they need to maintain and/or complete their many important and critical projects.
To mitigate their loss in income we launched an alternative event for 2021 "170km My Way" so you can now cycle (or walk, jog, run.swim , surf, paddleboard, kayak or whatever exercise you choose) the ROK route distance of 170km from wherever you are in the world from 3rd June until 3rd July and we will track your distance "virtually" to the ROKCC route on the iDonate platform.
Please support some incredible charities which include, Ard Chúram, Banna Rescue, Breakthrough Cancer Research, Cúnamh Iveragh, Down Syndrome Kerry, St Francis Special School, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland and The Irish Heart Foundation . All monies rasied on this page will be shared across these charities and other corporate charity partners such as the Cork University Hosiptal Charity - Stroke Unit, Aware and Soar.
Thank you for taking the time to visit my fundraising page and your support is much appreciated and so important - remember the power is in numbers, give just €10 and it all adds up.
My goal is to cycle a minimum of 1,000km during the challenge including the ROKCC route itself and also raise €2.500 ..... the quesition is do I have 250 friends?? ......track my progress on this page and see how I get on. Thank You Garry
