This year's Women's Mini Marathon will not be taking place in Dublin again this year in light of the continued Covid-19 social distancing measures. This event has always been a special day for many of us, with groups travelling from Carlow to Dublin and is also an important fundraising day for the Éist Cancer Support Centre, Carlow.

As we can't be there together in person, we are suggesting over the weekend of the 5th of June, to get involved and complete a run/walk/cycle in aid of Éist, donating what you can. You can share your activities on Facebook or Instagram and include the hashtag, #FOREIST .  We will have these memories in years to come of a different Women's Mini Marathon.

We will especially remember our family members and friends who we have lost to cancer and celebrate their life and memory together as a community.

Éist Cancer Support Centre offers counselling, reflexology, support groups, classes and support to people who are living with or have had cancer and their families. Their motto 'A listening ear, a helping hand' is especially relevant at this time and will continue to be in the coming months.
