About our Cycle: 7 of us intend to cycle the length of the country, from Malin Head to Mizen Head beginning on June 26th. The journey will be undertaken over 5 days with stops in Ballybofey, Claremorris, Lahinch & Kenmare. We have limited cycling experience so 5 days in the saddle will be Malin to Misery For the 7 of us!
However in saying that, Lakers who we are doing the cycle for are a great community organization that do wonders for the local area. Based in Bray, their centre is a great social outlet for those with special needs. We are aware of the dedication of the volunteers within the Lakers and would like to raise some much-needed funds for the organization to aid them in any way we can.
Like many organizations, the global pandemic has hit the fundraising activities of the Lakers very harshly. We understand it is a very tough climate at the moment but any donation small or large would be greatly appreciated by us and the Lakers.
Stay tuned for more updates and thanks again.
