Hi everyone, I'm taking part in VLM's Urgent Appeal For Ethiopia. As many of you know I spent some time in Ethiopia in 2008 and in 2010. I've had regular contact with friends there since the recent crisis began who have told me about the truly awful experiences of civilians, particularly women and girls. The money raised in this appeal will go directly to VLM's partner organisations who are working on the frontline to provide practical and psychosocial support to those impacted by the current situation. In particular, a proportion of the funds raised will be used to provide basic hygiene and sanitary products to internally displaced women and girls.
Many thanks for your support. Go raibh maith agaibh.
