From 3rd June - 3rd July this year, members of 'Team Davy' will be setting off on our challenge of cycling, walking, running, and swimming 170km's in aid of our Charity Partners Aware and Soar.
This campaign is part of The Ring of Kerry Charity Cycle which was set up by everyday people who come together each year to make a powerful difference to the lives of thousands of people in need across our local communities. Team Davy are delighted that our charity partners were given the opportunity to be added to the list of amazing causes that will be fundraised for this year as part of the challenge.
By donating to our team page, you will be giving 50/50 of your contribution towards Aware and Soar.
Aware run a 24/7 support line for anyone who is suffering with mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, self-harm, etc. These services are needed more than ever given the current pandemic.
Soar focuses on teenagers, carrying out early intervention work in order to create a healthy mindset and prepare them for the real world.
We believe that these charities are complementary, while Soar focuses on early intervention and character development for young people, Aware provides support for those struggling with their mental health.
Like all charities, Aware and Soar’s fundraising efforts suffered badly over the last year so we are delighted to be able to do something that will raise much needed funds for great causes. Your support will make a big impact on many people so please sign up to get involved or else make a donation to support the cause. All money raised on the ‘Team Davy’ page will be split evenly between Aware and Soar.
Thank you for your support
