A some of you know, I have very recently lost both my uncle and aunt to cancer.
I am going home to Ireland on June 30th and I have decided that I will do a charity cycle - 170km from dawn to dusk on July 3rd, to raise money for Cancer Research.

I appreciate that we all have our chosen charities that we support back home or here. This charity does however contribute to cancer research internationally. They bring patients, scientists and clinicians together from Ireland, Europe and further afield, and focus on cancers with a poor prognosis. Their approach has led to 8 new discoveries being taken all the way from the lab to patient study or clinical trial.
