12 Aug 2021All in a days work! In just 24 hours the challenge cyclists and crew have made the 585km journey from the toe of Ireland at Mizen Head, Co Cork all the way to Malin Head in Co. Donegal. There were the highs from the starting line, the great support along the roads from strangers and family alike. There were also the lows with tiredness, pain and never ending roads. But together they started and together they finished and their journey will remain long in their memories. 06 Jul 2021The first event is over with all members completing the Donegal 555. With bikes rolling out of Letterkenny from the hour of 6am, the mood was upbeat despite the hours of cycling ahead. The weather held up and while it was dark when the bikes finally came home from 3am onwards, the sense of achievement was evident.
