The new bridge season will be starting on the 1st September and it looks like we will still be playing online bridge for a few more months. To mark the occasion, we are running a big charity event on Saturday 4th September to raise funds for St Francis’s Hospice in Raheny. We are calling the event “The Battle of the Bay” where we will have a battle royal between the CAVBC Clan (Clan Clontarf) and the Foxbay/GRVBC Clan (Clan Foxnevin).

Clan Clontarf is made up from members of Clontarf, Raheny, St Anthony's, St Gabriel's, Teacher's and Vernon Bridge Clubs.

Clan Foxnevin is made up from members of Baldoyle, Bayside, Foxhall, Glasnevin, Iona and Monaghan Bridge Clubs

There are 4 parts to the Battle:

- Team of Four at 14.00 (Artillery Unit)

- Novice/Inter B Pairs at 14.15 (Light Cavalry)

- Inter A/Master Pairs at 14.30 (Heavy Cavalry)

- Individual at 15.00 (Infantry)

When making a donation, don't worry about the Service Fee, CAVBC/Foxbay clubs will cover that.
